	I've never heard of you before.. are you a new ministry? Yes and no: Visions held it's first festival, "Praise in the Park" in 1991.. but the next festival wasn't until September of 2002! During the decade in between these two festivals, we focused our energies "behind the scenes", on our technical consulting services, helping churches with sound and computer systems, and occasionally helping with praise and worship at various churches throughout Oregon. Last year the Lord called us back into the concerts & festivals aspect of our ministry.
	What are you trying to do? Our goal is to foster unity among the various member churches of the Body of Christ using the important tools of Praise & Worship. We organize concerts and festivals, and provide the core necessities (the location, permits, publicity and administration; the emcee, festival praise team and speakers; the sound, lighting, video and multimedia services; and a limited repertoire of talent).. but for the rest of the festival, we encourage and assist the local churches to work together in a spirit of unity to provide the bulk of the talent. It's our desire that all of us get to know and love each other as fellow members of the Body of Christ.. to understand that unity is not uniformity, that God created us individuals, wonderfully diverse, and that even though every denomination has it's own beliefs and traditions, one day we will all bow down before the throne in worship together (so we might as well practice together here on earth!)
	Which church do you go to? Because the goal of Visions Ministries is to foster cooperation among the various churches, we are made up of staff members from many churches (we believe in leading by example). We are an entirely non-denominational ministry with members from various churches and cities throughout Oregon.
	Who funds your ministry? Visions is an entirely non-profit organization, funded by contributions and donations from people who share our vision. Our initial operating capital came from our own pockets, and much of it still does.. we are carrying out God's plan using the resources at hand, and the vision grows as our ability to fund it increases. All of the services we provide (technical services and consulting, seminars, festivals*, etc) are provided on a free-will "love offering" basis. * Occasionally, festivals where our costs are very high will have a small fee (just enough to break even).
	How can I get involved? There are many ways to get involved with Visions Ministries: first and foremost, pray for us as a ministry, and for our vision.. help us grow through your donations of finances or equipment.. sign up as a volunteer at one of our festivals.. most importantly, ask God what He would have you do.
